Decent value, small hiccup

I bought an Annual Pass for SeaWorld Orlando. The price was competitive, especially with the dining deal discount I found. Getting the pass activated at the park was smooth enough, though the line for guest services was a bit long. My only complaint was that the digital photo pass sometimes took a while to load pictures, but overall, it's good value for repeat visits.

Good deal on tickets

I grabbed the Two Park Ticket for Busch Gardens and SeaWorld last month. It was pretty easy to buy online. We went to Busch Gardens first and it was a blast. The tickets came through right away in my email. No issues at the gate either, which was nice.

Amazing day at Discovery Cove!

My family and I went to Discovery Cove a few weeks ago and it was absolutely incredible! We got the Discovery Cove Admission and it included everything we needed for a perfect day. The dolphin encounter was a dream come true, seriously, it was so cool. The park was clean and the staff were super friendly. I will definitely be going back and telling all my friends about it!

Heard about the Seven Seas Food Festival lanyards. Are they worth it for the amount of food you get? Or just buy as you go?

R RohitM 5 days ago ✓ Best Answer
Definitely worth it if you plan to try a lot of different things. The portions aren't huge, but the value is there if you use all your tabs. We split one between two of us and it was perfect.

M MeenaP 5 days ago
Agreed, it adds up fast if you pay per item.

S ShreyaC 5 days ago
Okay, that's smart, splitting it. Thanks for the idea!

A ArjunL 6 days ago
I just bought individual items last time because I only wanted a couple of things. If you're a big eater or want to sample everything, the lanyard is probably better.

Good point. I'll look at the menu first.

Thinking of getting the Platinum Pass this year, is the Quick Queue Unlimited included or is that a separate purchase? Trying to figure out the real value.

A AnjaliR 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
It's included. Makes a huge difference on busy days, especially during summer or holidays. Totally worth it if you go often.

R RahulK 1 month ago
That's what I was hoping for. The queues can be brutal.

S SamirJ 1 month ago
Agreed, couldn't do the park without it now.

Platinum Pass usually includes Quick Queue Unlimited, but double check the benefits on their site for your specific park. It can vary a bit by location sometimes.
5
D DeepakG 1 month ago
Yeah, it's definitely included for Orlando. Used it last month.

Oh, good point about checking the park specific details. Thanks!

Is the SeaWorld Florida resident discount worth it for just a single day ticket, or is it only really beneficial for annual passes?

R RituD 6 days ago ✓ Best Answer
It's usually a pretty decent chunk off even for a single day. I'd definitely check the pricing difference on their site. Sometimes they have special resident-only deals too.

P Pankaj89 6 days ago
Good to know. I'll compare the prices then.

For a single day, it's okay, but the real savings start with the Fun Card or annual pass if you plan on going more than once.

Yeah, we're only planning one visit this year.

Just bought the All-Day Dining Deal for my family for our trip next week. Anyone know how strictly they enforce the 'one entree, one side, one drink' rule? We have some picky eaters.

M MonicaL 3 weeks ago ✓ Best Answer
It's one entree, one side, one drink per person per serving. You can't get two entrees and no side, for example. But if a kid just wants fries and a drink, they're usually fine with that counting as a 'meal'.

N NehaP 3 weeks ago
Okay, that clarifies it. Appreciate the detail!

R RohanK 3 weeks ago
This is what I experienced too. They aren't trying to trick you.

V VikramS 3 weeks ago
They're usually pretty relaxed. My kid just got a hot dog and fries last time, no issues with the 'side' rule. As long as it's within reason.

Good to know, thanks! Less stress for me then.

Got the Digital Photo Pass for our last trip, but I'm having trouble downloading some of the ride photos. Anyone else had this issue or know a trick?

P PoojaR 1 week ago ✓ Best Answer
Sometimes the ride photos take a bit longer to process and appear on the app. Give it 24-48 hours. If still nothing, contact their photo support.

I had a similar problem once, turned out my internet was super slow at home. Maybe try on a different connection?

Just booked a Dolphin Encounter! Anyone done this recently? What was it like? Trying to manage expectations.

K KiranJ 1 week ago ✓ Best Answer
It was amazing! Very interactive, felt like we got a lot of time with the dolphins. The trainers were super knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely worth it.

Thinking of upgrading my single day ticket to an annual pass after visiting last week. Is it usually pretty straightforward to do at guest services, or should I do it online?

A AmitM 2 weeks ago ✓ Best Answer
Super easy at Guest Services, they just deduct what you paid for your ticket from the annual pass price. Did it last month.

M MeeraG 2 weeks ago
Oh, that's great to hear! Was worried it'd be a hassle.

S SunilD 2 weeks ago
Make sure you still have your single day ticket handy, they'll need the barcode.

D DeepikaK 2 weeks ago
You can do it online too, but it might be quicker in person if you're already there. Plus, any issues, they can fix it right away.

Anyone know if the all-day dining deal is actually a good value? Or better to just pack some snacks and buy lunch there?

R Rachel 3 months ago
I got the dining deal last time. It's pretty good if you eat a lot and plan to be there all day. You can get an entree, side, and drink every hour, so it adds up. If you just want one meal, probably not.
3
E Emma Osei 3 months ago
Nah, I usually skip it. I just bring a few granola bars and buy one decent meal. You can't bring in like a whole picnic, but small snacks and bottled water are usually fine, saved me money.
